Sumbe-Fotabe Tree Project
The Sumbe-Fotabe Tree Project is a community-driven environmental initiative dedicated to restoring green spaces, protecting biodiversity, and combating the effects of climate change in the Sumbe-Fotabe region. Through tree planting, education, and community engagement, this project aims to create a healthier and more sustainable environment for present and future generations.
Deforestation, soil erosion, and changing weather patterns have had a significant impact on local communities, affecting agriculture, water resources, and livelihoods. The Sumbe-Fotabe Tree Project seeks to address these challenges by planting native and fruit-bearing trees that can help restore the ecosystem while providing economic and social benefits.
Our goal is to plant 10,000 trees over the next three years, working closely with schools, farmers, youth groups, and local leaders. Beyond planting, we are focused on educating communities about the importance of forest conservation, sustainable land use, and long-term environmental stewardship.
Every tree planted represents hope — hope for cleaner air, richer soil, stronger communities, and a greener tomorrow. By supporting the Sumbe-Fotabe Tree Project, you become part of a movement to protect nature and build resilience against climate change.
Together, we can grow a forest, protect our land, and secure a better future for generations to come.
